Is This the Fittest Neighborhood in the US? Here's Where to Eat & Workout in Miami's Sunset Harbour

On a recent business trip to Miami, we stumbled upon Sunset Harbour, a quiet enclave that happens to be one of the hottest neighborhoods in South Bach. This small, walkable area is known for more than just restaurants and shopping. It is in fact a fitness mecca, complete with a full three or so blocks of gyms, studios, juiceries, and health-inspired restaurants.

True, Sunset Harbour isn’t as close to the business action.  But we think it’s definitely worth the visit during your next business trip. Check out all of the ways you can work out and eat well in Sunset Harbour.

Where to Stay

While Sunset Harbour isn’t as hotel-dense as other areas like South Beach, there is one that typically caters to health-conscious travelers.  The Residence Inn by Marriott Miami Beach South Beach offers great amenities like small kitchenettes for preparing your own meal, a decent breakfast buffet, and typically decent fitness centers.

The next time you visit Miami, you may prefer to stay in the more business-friendly areas Downtown or in Brickell. However, if you are looking for a mind and body break with beachy vibes, venture out to Sunset Harbour on your next business trip to Miami.
